Nova Academy early college education – NOVA Academy proudly serves approximately 600 students annually through campus locations in Santa Ana and Coachella, CA. Founded on the belief that education opens a door to hope and the development of strong leaders, we offer a personalized approach to helping students succeed, both academically and in life.
Problem
Teachers were complaining that when they moved between classes, they did not have all their information and application. Teachers also complained of dissimilar platforms and performance problems.
Work
- To solve the problem, we installed two servers to host 60 virtual desktops
- Purchased 2 large Blade Servers
- Installed Operating System
- Configured 100 thin Dell All-In-One WYSE Clients
- Create Teacher profiles and student profiles
- Deployed and maintained a fleet of 800 ChromeBooks
- Maintained and upgrade the server over the years
Result
The teachers can access all their applications and data no matter what classroom they were in, they are able to access their information even when they were working remotely using one set of credentials
Eliminated the need to recreate workstations in case of hardware failure
