Problem
With old Hardware running the company and having to comply with CMMC government security standards, the client asked Orange Crew to upgrade the server hardware and the operating system to meet the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC 1) compliance standard.
Work
Since EBE is a current client of ours, we already knew the server capacity needed to run all the daily manufacturing and administrative operations.
Orange Crew performed the following tasks:
• Purchased and configured the server on the local LAN
• Configured RAID 5 on the server
• Installed Windows Server on the Dell Server
• Configured Hyper-V to host DC
• Create a new virtual server as a Domain Controller
• Enabled AD roles, transferred FSMO
• Moved DHCP, DNS, Print Server, and Group Policies to the new server
Result
The company servers we moved to new hardware that meets the CMMC standard. The operating system was upgraded, and the performance was improved. Orange Crew was able to work with CMMC experts to provide solutions and complete tasks related to obtaining the certification.
